The Team

Amit Das Gupta has over two decades of experience in teaching and training across industries. His area of specialization includes servant leadership practices, positive psychology and critical exploration. A pioneer in experiential education in India, he has been instrumental in creating and mentoring the finest educators’ team in the country for more than a decade.

Anubhav Das heads the strategy team at Utsaah. He is deeply passionate about exploring new concepts in sustainable systems. He co-founded one of India’s first commercial aquaponics facilities. Earlier Anubhav was a Partner in a leading experiential education company. In his role as a design specialist, he has worked with leading higher education institutes in developing their brand identities.

Deepak Gambhir with over a decade of experience in outdoor education, leads the service learning initiatives at Utsaah. Introduced to adventure early in life, Deepak brings forth immense experience and knowledge of outdoor and off country travelling, and with it, the wisdom that one gets on the road. Naturally inclined towards colors, music and creativity, he often uses these as mediums of teaching and developing free expression of creative thoughts in children.

Nivinder Nagpal With over two decades of diverse experience spanning IT, BFSI, EdTech and now Experiential learning, Nivinder leads Utsaah’s marketing and school outreach initiatives. The journey from technology to transformative education has been driven by his love for exploring new cultures and drawing inspiration from the natural world’s rhythms and resilience. At Utsaah, he strives to bridge schools and communities, crafting authentic learning experiences that foster curiosity, responsibility, and a sense of shared purpose in every learner.

Komal Patel is an experienced facilitator specializing in experiential and outbound learning. she is deeply committed to the philosophy of “deep learning,” designing programs that cultivate self-awareness, leadership, collaboration, and social responsibility.
She has worked extensively with schools, colleges, corporates, and social impact organizations across India.Her approach integrates structured experiential education with adventure-based learning, enriched by certifications in mountaineering, wilderness first response, and experiential education.
Known for her thoughtful leadership and reflective facilitation style, Komal creates immersive learning environments that enable participants to derive meaningful insights and translate them into real-world growth.

Srishti Mandaar with her Masters in Development Communication & Extension from Delhi University, is focused on research for changing status-quo in society. Her expertise in documenting cultural heritage and social change projects has led to insightful learning experiences for progam development. At Utsaah, Srishti brings together the knowledge and research requirements for service and cultural programs.

Sunil Karpa is a highly accomplished outdoor educator and adventure specialist with over 25 years of experience in leading transformative wilderness experiences. A certified Mountain Guide, Instructor, and First Aid professional, he brings a strong foundation of technical expertise, safety, and leadership to every program. His expertise lies in curating immersive trekking, climbing, and experiential learning journeys for schools and diverse groups. His approach blends adventure with purpose—fostering resilience, confidence, teamwork, and a deep connection with nature.
